Welcome to the 2007 Pop Warner Football and Cheer season. We expect this year to be an exciting and fun year for everyone involved in the program. This year marks our 17th year and we remain as committed as ever to our motto “The Development of Youth through Sports”.
The coming year will bring several challenges that we must successfully conquer to insure the long term health of our program, The most important challenge is increase the number of adult volunteers who are actively involved in our program. An organization like CCYS needs committed people in order to grow as well as stay strong and viable. Many of the adult volunteers who have served this program over the years are ready to move on to new things. If our program is to continue its mission of service to the youth of the community, we need new people to volunteer their time, energy and ideas toward keeping this program strong. If the majority sits on the sideline waiting for others to carry the load then ultimately we will drop the ball and our program will fall by the wayside like so many other worthwhile organizations have done in the past. If you have not completed your registration for this coming season, you may do so at the picnic. If you are unable to attend the picnic please call Art Lopez at (408) 661-9247 or email him at artl@mscarta.com or call (408) 270-3246 and make arrangements to register for the 2007 season. The registration fee of $100.00 is required to hold a roster spot.
